If we are all so gosh darn smart, why do we still have common aches and pains in our lives? Why haven t we figured out how easy it is to understand those pains and relieve them? Well, we think that we have and we would like to tell you about it. It s all pretty easy and fun to do and it works. What we have found is that we have been missing out on some simple ideas of how to look at ourselves and what truly causes us a lot of our common aches and pains.

However, before we start, we just want to take a moment to warn you up front, that you should take your time as, when making your improvements, you will be calling on unused, or the weaker, hurt side of your anatomy so take it slow, the whole process relies on you, so use your best judgment... We believe that these concepts are harmless if utilized with care, but at the same time they are here to help you learn and succeed, and not to take the place of professional help...

... So read on and we will share a few simple concepts which can help to, and relieve, everyday aches and pains which are related to improper bone orientation....

It seems that no one has ever approached the complexities of movement in a way to definitively give us a structured approach as to the one or best way to move our bodies we seem to approach it as a sort of secondary science In other words we seem to make reference to the correct way by saying things like That s it or Sit right or Stand tall or Keep balanced but we never seem to hear exactly what is the right way for us to do those things so, we at Tone the Bone think that we know why and have come up with a few simple principles that are going to give you a way to make your movements work for you. First, let us start with telling you about why there isn t the one way as we know it today

What we feel is as we are growing, we do the best that we can to move in the first place We use our bones and muscles in the best way that we can to stand, sit, walk and run etc. Now here is where we seem to make our biggest mistakes in common motion theory and that is something like, well we all have our own ways of making our movements the right way so it would be silly to say that one way is right and all of the others are wrong. So we are subconsciously forced to realize that all of those ways are right but here s the catch... by the same virtue that makes all of those movements right also makes them wrong how can that be you might ask, how can what makes it right also make it wrong well that s happens to be what toning by the bone is all about.. And we are going to help you to answer that for yourself and others as well.

We have some videos to help us along with our explanations so when you see links please feel free to click them for some audio visual fortification So let us continue One of the first things that we need to think about is that we don t move without making an effort, whether it is an intentional or a reflexive movement we have to do something to make ourselves move and we are going to make a leverage our skeletal system in either a linear or circular or some other combination of leverages which will result in a twist or some other motion to get us on our way.

One of the next things that we need to be aware of is that it is fine that we all have our own way or habits in order to move and or stay still and that is not a problem in itself....

Habits (click here)

What is a problem however, is that once we get used to a way that works for us we seem to continue to do things that way until we become imbalanced.

Imbalance (click here)

Now, one thing to remember about us is nothing here that we say or do is permanent... in other words we don't what anything here to sound like it is carved in stone... it's not... we are talking about human elements that are dynamic, adaptable and not supseptable to the dependency of or words... but instead able to reason and use our words to create an understanding which allows us to incorporate an independent foundation in which we can taylor our own best practices to devise a best way fo each and every one of us....

There aren't a whole lot of words that we will need to use to get our point across but some of them are "Opened or Closed, Jammed or Extended, Twisted, Leveraged, Sticking, Resilent, Neutral, Reflex, Reference, Habit, Symmetry, and Imbalance... You'll notice that we've already briefly mentioned a few of them so what we would like to do now is to take a moment to introduce to the rest of them..

Since this site is about Pain Management and how you can manage to relieve yourself of many of the pains that most of us have by bone alignment Let s introduce the concept of Pain management in two ways... The first is how we manage to get into pain and the second is how we manage to get out of pain Here s the first..

Pain Management Part I (click here)

Okay so know that we ve talked a little about the general concepts of toning by the bone let s start with what you are interested in. Let s talk about how we get out of out aches and pains the theories, methods and techniques.Let s start with Pain Management part two. The part were we use our pain to manage or otherwise as a reference for our corrections.

Pain Management Part II (click here)

There are a few basic to the corrective techniques that we would like to go over... Things such as taking your time, correcting the weak side first because the strong side will just pull it apart otherwise and making your adjustments and readjustments etc...

Corrections (click here)

When we go to correct what we will want to do first off is to start with the weakside, the side that is in pain to strengthen it to protect and heal it first. Otherwise the strong side will just keep pulling it apart. Here is just one example of things that we might do to get us into alignment.

Correcting The Weak Side (click here)

After we have closed the weakside, we more than likely will want to open the strong side. Here is the counter to the prior example of closing the weak hip side.
